I am a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher at the Intermediate Junior 1 level.  I received my initial training into the Iyengar Yoga method through Heather Haxo Phillips at Adeline Yoga Studio in Berkeley, California. In addition, I have studied extensively with senior Iyengar Yoga teachers Carrie Owerko, Lois Steinberg and Carolyn Belko.  Through the synthesis of my learning from such diverse, skillful and compassionate teachers I bring a dynamic blend of power, precision and play into my practice and teaching.

Since teaching my first class at the San Quentin Prison, I served as a devoted teacher of the Prison Yoga Project where I taught every week for over six years. During my time of living in the Bay Area, I also taught at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco as well as YogaWorks studios in Marin.

By creatively expressing my passion for Iyengar Yoga on social media, I built a following online by presenting short practice videos accompanied with fun music. My online demonstrations through DIY (do-it-yourself) style videos have encouraged and engaged a broad spectrum of enthusiastic practitioners. Many of these videos are viewed and shared by yoga communities around the world. I currently call Los Angeles home base as I passionately travel across the globe to teach workshops in different countries.

If you would like to host me at your studio space and organize for workshops or classes, feel free to use the contact form on my website or connect via Facebook and Instagram.
