My Yoga Practice
I practice yoga to practice peace.
When I am at peace with my self—my mind and body in harmony with my spirit—then I am at peace with the world around me. My yoga practice gives me self care on a physical level and self reflection on a mental level. Quietude of mind and vitality of body sharpens my focus and shapes my attitude towards life. The fruits of the practice help me age gracefully and not be at odds with my mortality. The evolution of my practice is marked by slow and steady progress. Feeling more comfortable in my body than years past. My practice helps me build strength to accept my past and cultivate patience to endure my future. Finding stamina to balance through the changes of every day, my practice keeps me present.
