MoveTogether: LIVE with Yoga International

I’m looking forward to another round of MoveTogether: Live, a series of classes featured the Yoga International platform. Starting March 1st and going on for five weeks every Monday.

This series of classes are intended for any practitioner seeking a dynamic, active and playful class experience. Expect the unexpected! Connect with your breath and get moving with your body in fun and novel ways. Experience functional range movement plus creative ways to explore traditional asanas. Find yourself in surprise with movement puzzles for the brain.  Each class balances between structure and spontaneity, discipline and freedom. A playground for stability and mobility. 

Below is are the dates and themes of classes:

March 1 - Jumping with Joy! 
An energetic class with a focus on different ways to incorporate jumping into practice. Bring a childlike wonder and playful attitude to practice. Explore your core and more!

March 8 - Twist & Turns 
A class focusing on twisting asanas and exploring ways to get into some challenging arm balances.  Explore wrist and shoulder mobility techniques for arm balancing. 

March 15 - Beat the Blues with Backbends
A class to help uplift one’s spirits in hard times. Lots of interesting ways to mobilize the spine and experience healthy ways of back bending. Let’s take camel pose for a fun ride! 

March 22 - Hooray for Handstands! 
Afraid of going upside down? No need to fear; smart progressions are here! Great prep work for wrists and shoulders plus core and more. Learn to use the wall for handstanding and tips and tricks for learning to balance in the middle of the room.

March 29 - Power of the Chair Prop  
A class using the chair prop in novel ways to experiment with and enhance awareness of asana practice. Any sturdy chair prop will suffice.
